SEED LIBRARY

The MPL Seed Library is a free program designed to strengthen our community of gardeners, experienced and aspiring.

Sign up at the library in the Reference Department. Pick up up to 5 mini packets of seeds for food, herbs, flowers, and ornamentals. Come back again if you need more.

We ask that borrowers who can donate a packet or two of fresh seeds to replenish the supply.

To join the seed library:

  1. Fill out a membership record form.

  2. Fill out a seed record showing which seeds you took.

  3. Turn both into the librarians at the reference desk, which they will file in the sign-up book.

  4. Any time you come for seeds, ask for your record sheet and update with seeds you've taken.
